About

“Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed.”
― Paulo Coelho

Mission Statement

Our mission has been, and continues to be, to support our clients’ opportunities to fully participate in all aspects of community life. We do this through the strategic and careful execution of programs designed to help our clients develop necessary life skills.

History

In 2004, we started Independence Community Access Network, Inc. as a company to broaden behavior analysis and community-based services in Brevard County. At the time, there were no other consistent and holistic services to meet the diverse and actively changing needs of our clients.

Since our launch in 2004, we have expanded significantly, not only in staff size but also service capacity. Case Managers and clients’ families requested that ICAN, Inc. diversify its service base to include Personal Supports, Life Skills and Supported Living Services.

In 2013, as a response to a growing need for meaningful daytime activity in the Brevard County area, ICAN, Inc. added Adult Day Training to the services that we provide.

Our Company Cultural Values

We always center the client. We respect everyone. We work with integrity and excellence. We aim to innovate in the behavioral health sector.
